Sad night

Lubenson, me and Rod at the Ameridose Christmas Party 09

One of my good friends, Lubenson Celoy went to Haiti last week. Unfortunately his town got hit by an earthquake. We have not heard anything from him yet. All I can do is pray and hope he is fine.

New year

I wish everyone a very happy new year. Great moments and countless blessings.

Not so small

One secret

The secret of life is believing there is something ahead of you that's greater than the problems behind you; believe me, it gives you the motivation to keep going much further than you ever thought. Diego Santos

Diamonds or stones

Never take someone for granted. Hold that special person close to your heart because you might wake up one day and realize you've lost a diamond while you were busy collecting stones.

Bosnian Proverb

There is a beauty in this place, we just don't want to see it.

By my roomate brother Kemal Gogic.

This quote was inspired based on the everyday college life in Jackson TN.

Words of appreciation

Another day is almost gone. Another semester is almost over. It's hard to believe how fast this one went by, and next thing you know...it's Christmas time again.

This year has definitely been one of the best years my life. This year I was able to accomplish so many things. When I remember some trials I went through a few years ago, I can honestly say that I'm very blessed guy. God has been great to me. He's been so good, so faithful...His grace and favor is definitely upon my life.

I remember when I quit a great job I had, and got another one just to keep it going in order to take some night classes back on Boston. I didn't see myself playing soccer for any school or even attending school fulltime as I am now. Even knowing that going to school fulltime was my ultimate goal, at that time -due to situations- I just couldn't picture myself living what I am now.

Doesn't God always have greater plans for our lives? Yes indeed.

Another reason that makes me happier, is seem my parents proud about me and my sister. After a long wait, both of us are going to college, which was one of their dreams since we were born. It's really nice to appreciate and give it back to them.

If I start talking about all the blessing from 2009, I will be here writing for weeks.

Just another post, nothing fancy about it...simply words of appreciation.

That little voice

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow. Mary Anne Redmarcher.

Courage

Courage is not the absence of fear, rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear. Ambrose Redmoon.
